Dr. Mombazo is a group of musicians from Seattle who have been recording together for the last 20 years. Their original music is an amalgamation of rock, funk, jazz, electronica, down tempo, and various other ethnic influences. Some have described their music as "acid jazz meets ethnic funk".
The band consists of Craig Rosenberg on drums and percussion, Michael Crouse on bass guitar, Sean Lahay on keyboards, and Glen Lynskey on guitar, with many other guest musicians including Toni Redmond on vocals, Bill MacDonald, and Colin Higgins on electric guitar, Alex Wurmbrand on violin, Miklin Halstead on bass, E.J. Erickson and Eric Barber on Sax, Jomama Jopanky, and Bill Currie on keyboards and electric violin. We hope you enjoy our music!
